Gulliver's Pizza Chicago

Gulliver's Pizza in Chicago is well worth a trip just to see the inside of the place. The ceiling is covered with Tiffany style lighting most of which is antique and in working order. The owner bought old light fixtures from many of the old mansions that were torn down or renovated. The walls and most of the rest of the place is covered with tons of old sculptures, and other oddities. The PIZZA is true deep dish Chicago style and in my opinion there is no better in town. The menu offers other italian and oddly mexican dishes. I do not get the connection other than an appeal to other tastes. Whatever. The booths are the best place to sit as they have high backs and you kinda get the feeling that you are in your own little room. Seats are wooden and a little uncomfortable. But you will not notice as you are distracted by the decor and the people watching. There seems to always be a small party going on to celebrate a birthday or a holiday. This place is a destination in itself. YUM.
