Las Vegas, Nevada
What can I say about Las Vegas? Great resorts. World class gaming. Great slots. Super high end shopping. Corporate run casinos cutting way back on ammenities to guests of all levels of play. Dangerous Strip at night. Pick a hotel after 11PM and stay inside or take a cab back to your hotel. Multiple stabbings and fights on the Strip after 11PM especially near Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd. Best Hotel = Mandalay Bay. Strip 2009 looks like Downtown 1985. Way too many hotels/casinos built right up to the Strip. Bad air quality most days. Running out of fresh water. Lake Mead under 50% full in 2009. Currently running ads aimed at gay clientel. Not a good idea. Gay bars nasty in Las Vegas. Full of drag queens and twinks. Strip clubs are plentiful along with swingers clubs. Huge strip clubs near Las Vegas Blvd. Town is losing in many areas due to out of control influx of residents moving in who do not support local business and send their money back to their home countries. Many residents do not pay taxes due to their lack of resident status. Local economy strained. Local education always rates near bottom of any national lists.
